Just a Baby was founded on a simple but powerful belief: that every new mum deserves access to expert support, not just those who can afford it.

Our founder, Helena, experienced first-hand the transformative difference that professional maternity care can make — to a mother's confidence, her baby's wellbeing, and her overall experience of those precious but challenging early months. Having navigated early motherhood without the support of her own mum, but with the invaluable help of a maternity nurse, she understands deeply what it means to feel alone in those moments — and built Just a Baby so that no mum ever has to.

We aim to provide access to the best maternity and postnatal care, in a group setting, at an accessible price. On top of this, we provide additional resources (community events, online content) so that parents are equipped to thrive beyond their time with us.

Helena lives in Clapham with her husband and one-year old daughter.
